Changing Seasons

Hello, it seems quite awhile since Tides and Tidings published an extra page, but you must not believe that is because nothing has been happening at Rowley’s Parish Church, despite the holiday season we have still been meeting together every Sunday in church for Holy Communion and Evening Prayer, the Ladies Class have still been meeting Tuesday Evenings over in the hall, but now we are changing pace with the seasons, getting ready for:

A Macmillan Coffee Morning
over in the Church Hall. This is a really good opportunity to show our support and raise funds for the care of Cancer patients, and to enjoy a friendly chat and have some fun. The time is 11:30am the day Sunday 25th September. Please come. All are welcome and you don’t have to come to church.

But before that Jane Proud our Christmas Fair organiser is holding a planning meeting for thus years fair at the end of November, planning meeting the 18th September … I am sure she would be pleased to hear from you if you would like to offer help. You can get in touch with Jane via St Giles Website

St Giles Singers are practicing for The Harvest Festival Service, Sunday 2nd October. I have been sitting in on the practices, just listening and can say they are in fine voice. Harvest Supper follows on the evening of 3rd October, again that’s over in the hall, at 7pm. If you want to come please get in touch via the Church website.

Messy Church Attendance is growing, this event takes place 1st Sunday of every month, in the St Giles Church Hall, over the road in Hawes Lane. Details can be found on the website.

And here it is, please follow the link to St Giles Church

Rosy Mouse likes Harvest Festivals but Yvonne Churchwarden rather likes Messy Church
